We believe in giving it all or nothing! With
123hosting.com, if your site is down for more then twenty minutes at a
time (this allows for normal but very infrequent system reboots, and
quick maintenance if and when needed) we will credit you
8X your downtime's service charge! This is essentially an SLA (Service Level
Agreement) at the shared hosting level! In the event this ever even
happens, you are simply required to:
1) Email
billing@123hosting.com with UPTIME SLA in the subject
field.
2) Mention you noticed your site down for greater than 20
minutes or not related to a reboot.
3) Be sure to mention your domain name and approximate time you
noticed the outage.
4) Include any supporting information if available, such as a
case number from online support when you reported the incident to us for
repair or attention, or third party monitoring report showing the site
down.
Important Notes: a) Email must be sent
within 5 days of the reported incident and we must be able to verify
this with our logs or your supporting information if available. b)
Outages not involving our servers or internal network do not
qualify c) The refund will be posted to your hosting account
and reflect on your upcoming statement essentially reducing or
eliminating your next bill.
But if 123hosting.com's service are so great, do I
really need an uptime guarantee anyway?
YES! And you shouldn't host with anyone that doesn't have one. If the
host has nothing to lose while your site is down, then their
efficiency and speed in bringing the site back up may seriously lack.
An uptime guarantee may only mean a $9 to $30 refund for you, give or
take a few dollars, but if a host has to refund every site on the
server at $5 each then it becomes much more important for the host to
keep your site up regardless whether you know about it or not! Keep in
mind, our systems are designed to be the highest performing in design
and capability. We currently have the most stable, robust TCP/IP stack
available! So... this may be the least used feature at
123hosting.com! *Refunds per month can not be greater then your
monthly bill, and dedicated servers are excluded as a separate
agreement is sent to Managed Server Clients in writing.
